Stacy Heard is an accomplished and well-respected family law attorney in Seattle, Washington who has served clients for over 20 years.

Stacy specializes in matrimonial and family law. She handles matters of divorce, high-conflict parenting plan/child custody issues, international custody disputes and Hague Convention cases, complex financial issues, relocation, restraining orders, child support, and modifications of Parenting Plans and Child Support Orders.

She is active in the local, national, and international family law community. She is a member of several legal organizations and is a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers (IAFL). She has developed a vast network of leaders and experts in the legal, financial, and mental health industries and works with other professionals to assist clients in achieving their goals.

Stacy has authored the Lexis Nexis Practice Guide, Washington Family Law, and co-authored Family Law Attorneys and Parenting Evaluators: Improving Professional Collaboration. She has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed and professional publications, including the International Comparative Legal Guides Family Laws & Regulations-Washington. She has been recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine as Rising Star and by the Washington State Bar Association for her Pro Bono work. She is also trained in cross-border mediation, arbitration and mediation, collaborative law, and is qualified as a Title 26 Guardian ad Litem.

Prior to starting her own practice in 2005, Stacy worked at a large Seattle civil litigation firm where she gained valuable litigation experience. Stacy is a native Oregonian who has called Seattle home for over 25 years. She enjoys international travel, the outdoors, and photography.  She also loves hiking with her dog and spending time with her nieces.

Cambre Roberts is an Associate Attorney at The Law Office of Stacy D. Heard, PLLC.

With a background working with youth and families, she approaches family law through a holistic lens. She knows the difficulties of family transitions, and the reality that no one person in a family carries the weight of the impacts. With the ability to see both the bigger picture and the finer details, she utilizes a comprehensive understanding of the law and her client’s goals to provide fierce advocacy, advice, and support. She is a problem-solver at heart and enjoys any opportunity to help guide her clients through whatever it is that brought them to seek out a family law attorney.

She is licensed to practice law in both Washington and Oregon (inactive) and has prior experience working as a public defender in Oregon representing parents and children in child welfare proceedings. During law school, she represented youth in juvenile court proceedings, engaged in both national and state level policy advocacy work in the field of youth justice, and engaged in multiple roles providing quality legal research at the state and appellate level. She has collectively made over 200 court appearances through her work representing parents, children, and youth.

Cambre graduated from the University of Utah SJ Quinney College of Law, where she was an active member of multiple student organizations and engaged in more than 50 hours of pro bono service through the law school’s Pro Bono Initiative. 

Cambre grew up in Utah but considers the Pacific Northwest home. In her free time, she enjoys reading literary fiction, spending time with her partner and their cats, doing yoga, and dancing.
